Poul Hundevad, Mid Century, Nesting Folding Tables.

A famous set of nesting tables was designed by Poul Hundevad in the 1960´s, made by Novy Domov in the 1970's.

They're made of beech wood with teak wood veneer.

A small minimalist compact size perfect for small design led interiors.

There was a focus on functional design and multi-purpose furniture was very popular. This Scandinavian design influence was led by their heritage of small, efficient homes that required compact multi-functional furniture.

These pieces from Poul Hundevad are a great example of this design philosophy and beautifully illustrates his design capabilities and interest in form and functionality.

Measures: 38cm ø | 48.5cm H | 11.5cm W folded

Notes: The smaller tables have some minor chips to the veneer on the edges next to where they fold, which is common with these and with use plus some minor surface dents commensurate with use.

They have been cleaned, re-oiled and colour blended where needed.

They are in really great shape overall! Sturdy and the hinges are fluid.
