1970's 'Facette' Design Table Lamp, Cari Zalloni for Steuler

An iconic Facette lamp, designed by Austrian Cari Zalloni, manufactured by Steuler Keramik with a retro geometric 60's design.

It has a stacked pagoda silhouette with a glossy glaze somewhere between pink and peach, with a short, fluted neck, this increasingly rare lamp would be a standout feature in any retro or contemporary styled home. It has a post modern 80s aesthetic.

Interestingly, Zalloni's Facette design was also produced by Fohr Keramik, but their particular mould tended to be narrower, smaller but with a much more flamboyant neck.

The lampshade is vintage post modern and appears to be an unbleached cotton fabric.

Notes: The ceramic base is in stunning condition without chips/cracks or crazing and the glossy glaze still as good as the day it was fired.
