Italian Vintage Fish Dish, after Bertoncello

An Italian pottery fish shaped dish in the style of Bertoncello.

This has been hand made, painted and splatter glazed with a semi matt finish common to the Bertoncello makers.

It has a simple silhouette, slightly abstract in form with an expressive face.

A shallow decorative piece which could also be displayed on a wall or shelf.

The raw clay colour on the underside is consistent in colour with Italian pottery and the base is unmarked.
