VTG MCM 1950s Menesini Chalkware Bust

A large, rare striking, vintage chalk ware bust of an African lady bought in Luxembourg dating from the 1950s.

Its been painted black with bronze detailing around the hair and accents around the edges of the plinth.

This is an amazing Mid Century piece that would be a statement accent to an eclectic, Bohemian or Mid Century Home.

Similar in style as busts made by Lorenzo Menesini - however there isn't a registered design number on the base.

A striking unique piece would make a stunning gift.

Measures: 45cm tall, base 13cm x 13cm.
